Maui Nui Botanical Gardens will begin offering volunteer guided tours starting October 5th, 2010. Tours will cover conservation, natural history and ethnobotanical uses of native Hawaiian plants, as well as the Gardens’ initiatives in each of these areas. Tours will be held on Tuesdays and Fridays, weekly, from 10 - 11:30am, by appointment only. Cost is free, with a suggested donation of five dollars per person.
