Instead of KAUPA telling the community what you’ll see, we insist you tell us what you would like to see. Channeled through the empowerment and development of Kalihi’s young adult alakaʻi, we want to hear your voice, see your stories visually translated, and feel your ideals or symbols which represent the heart of the community. These will all take on a new life as we document the past, present and future of Kalihi. It is this type of exchange, communication and participation that serves as the foundation of this project.
