Maui Nui Botanical Gardens will host a free lauhala weaving demonstration lead by master weaver, Pohaku Kahoÿohanohano, and his students. Come to the Gardens on Saturday, December 18th, from 10am to 1pm to observe a range of weaving techniques! A variety of fascinating handmade lauhala creations will also be on display. Maui Nui Botanical Gardens is located at 150 Kanaloa Avenue in Kahului, lovingly remembered as the location of the old Maui Zoo...
