Ancient Hawaiians understood the significance of creating strong cordage, or rope. Cordage was used to bind and lash homes, canoes, and tools in old Hawaii… Join Hawaiian Ethnobotanist, Cathy Davenport, for a hands-on workshop in cordage making, on Saturday, August 6th, from 10am to 12pm at Maui Nui Botanical Gardens. Email info@mnbg.org to request a registration form. Space is limited and a workshop fee applies.
