  aloha ka kou me ohana...i am a hawaiian from the island of 'Oahu were if you travel way down to the end you will come to place called wai'anae....a place were we all call home....wai'anae is a place were we learn our culture from farming, to hula, to oli, to respecting those values that were once forgotten by our ancestors and i believe strongly that we should never let it fade away...'umikumawalu o'u makahiki a me hele i ke kula ki'eki'e 'O wai'anae aia i ka papa 'umikumalua...in my school, we are in the natural resources academy....i tell you it is hard to practice these values everyday...but with all these nagative things that are getting into our na keiki po'o that this so called society had believe it will keep us alive...but have they ever thought of our na keiki future...have we ever thought about our na keiki future...let me ask you...do we just sit around and do nothing to fail as hawaiians...our do we stand strong and be what we were once determined to be as a family....i'll leave thaat question for you to answer.
