  • Hi, Kaohi. My husband is Herbert. His ohana is from Waimanalo :)
  • "Charge it !"

"The Department of the Interior (DOI) estimates that $5.6 million is needed to clean up the toxic lead paint on Midway Atoll. The 95 federally-owned government buildings must be stripped of all lead-based paint, and sand areas surrounding these old buildings need to be thoroughly sifted to remove lead paint chips. When American Bird Conservancy staff presented the severity of this growing threat to an already-imperiled bird species to DOI officials, they were told that the new Northwestern Hawaiian Islands Marine National Monument did not have any federal funds dedicated to its operation. Moreover, the DOI officials stated that the current federal budget for the nation’s wildlife refuge system would be insufficient to prevent the continued ingestion of lead paint by Laysan chicks." ........................................................................................................................... Just ask !! Why of course Hawaiian mothers across the island chain will happily see their own children do without so that the albatrosses are happy !! We kanakas would hate to see even cut- throat pirates inconvenienced in any way. E komo mai !!

  • NO.. My fathers name is Herbert Kaniaupio III. I am unsure what you are getting at with the comment you left on my page but do understand you have something against the Kamehamehas. I also noticed that you are a supporter of a Sovereign Hawaiian Nation which I am also but, the only way I see any gains or recognition towards a Sovereign Hawaiian Nation is with and under the power of the true MO'I, Windyceslau D Lorenzo. In my book Hawaiian Independence begins with him.

Do not comment on my page bad mouthing my ohana about things that they did in the 1,800's! Go back far enough & everyone has regrettable skeletons in their closet so don't claim to be a saint!!
