Hawai'i - NOT u.s., Just Occupied !!!Posted by ku ching on July 18, 2008 at 10:33am in Politics

In Keanu Sai's latest presentation - on radio station KPFA in Berkeley, California (Thursday, July 17) - a wonderful, however, brief, question and answer session on Hawaiian sovereignty. Yes - Hawai'i is still sovereign, even though our government has been decimated.

Keanu's presentation preceeds the Ka Lei Maile Ali'i Civic Club's presentation of the play by the late Didi Lee Kwan for early August in Northern California (Berkeley and Ukiah) - about a meeting in Hilo in 1897 - that coincided with the collection of signatures across the Kingdom that are now referred to as the "Ku'e Petitions" - of kanaka maoli, who were loyal to Queen Lili'uokalani, who opposed the attempted illegal annexation by the u.s. of Hawai'i, by promulgating a fake "internal" u.s. document - the Annexation Treaty - that had no legal effect in a foreign nation that Hawai'i.

In other words - the so-called "annexation of Hawai'i by the u.s." was total shibai. And anybody who believes that Hawai'i is now part of the u.s. is an idiot, or political imbecile.

Listen to Keanu's Q & A on the web at - www.kpfa.org - click on programs, click on Thursday, July 17, click on APEX Express at 7:00 p.m. - and you'll get the latest rendition of the truth of Hawai'i's past - and kanaka maoli's political status as the heirs of subjects of the Kingdom.

  • Mahalo Jodi for adding me to your friends list. Would you consider joining the Kamehameha Boarding group I created? It's the KS logo with uniform blue background for past and present boarders. You can link through the main maoliworld or through my personal page. Please pass on the word of this new boarders group with any friends you link with. Mahalo and A Hui Hou!

  • Jodi,

Thanks for clarifying the situation - and thanks for sending the pics.

Yes, I know your family well.

Where do you live? I'm on Hawai'i island - in Waimea.

    Thanks.

  • Did I know your Dad?

Yep. We were kids together, but I was a bit older. I'm 71 now - but still sprightly.

I remember, though (I think), that your Dad had a brother close to his age. Name?

I last time I saw Philip was not too long after Mercy died.

Pauoa is down the valley from Papakolea. We used to go to church together - back when I was God-fearing.

    ku
  • Then Maryann is your greatgrandmother - your grandfather Phillip's mother.

    Is Phillip still alive?

I knew all of these ancestor's of yours.

    ku
  • Hi,

OK. How does Mercy fit in the picture?

Your ancestor must be - Maryann (spelling might be wrong)?

I am an old friend of the family. From Pauoa. My deceased parents were contempories of Maryann's.

    Thanks.

  • Hey quick question....seen a comment you left on Dominic Adain's page....said that your dad was Ugene Hew Len. Was he also called Gene Hew Len (or is that a totally different person???) and did he sing in the Honolulu Boy Choir in the early 70's? Sorry to be so niele, just thinking out loud!

    Aloha~
