Video Blog #92: One on One with Uncle "Bumpy" Kanahele - (Part 2) - from Kaleo Farias III on Vimeo.

This one on one interview with Uncle "Bumpy" Kanahele is the first part of a four part series. Find out from Uncle "Bumpy" himself about what was the "event" that "triggered" him in the 1970's to be a part of the very beginning stage's of revitalizing a people, culture, heritage, and a Nation-State that had been suppressed, hidden, and even encouraged to be forgotten, for well over a century!

In part 2, Uncle "Bumpy" will also talk about his second unjust and illegal arrest and time in prison for standing up for what is "Pono" and what is "Right," and what is "True." Uncle "Bumpy" also talk's about his first experience with having a "Constitutional Convention" in 1995 or 1996. Uncle "Bumpy" also talk's about how he has written a few songs, how he is working on a new book, having another Constitutional Convention, and what we all should do about converging on the Iolani Palace.

Sit back and be inspired by one of the first Hawaiian Patriot's and Pioneer's of what is called and known today as the "Hawaiian Independence Movement."

  • I just got email note from Jim concerning the NRC decision:

    "Fellow petitioners,
I see we got denied by the NRC. I haven't read the decision yet. When you read it let me know your thoughts. Is there an appeal process? Is it worth proceeding? Those are 2 basic questions.
    Solidarity,
    Jim Albertini"

In about a year the military will have a license to posses depleted uranium (DU) and use it on our people and their land. As of this moment, the military have been aggregating the DU throughout Waianae since November 2009 until now. We are all downwinders. Three different isotopes in a given surface dump will cause high radiation in the dump site. We should see this phenomena soon and it should escalate by Tad Davis time period of (plus) 35 years. Japan, thanks to Owada UN will set the precedence for an expansion to Asia. Waianae was martial law'ed for an expanding jurisdiction to Asia or Taiwan by Tad Davis and Hawaii's state leaders and their supporters. So Sad! Not sure what's going to happen or even where else to go with any issues. But, I stay listening.

Bumpy is younger than me and I will always remember Royal Order and there decision for Mo'i. I also understand his decision for Social Responsibility too. God Bless to you all.

Mauka Bumby's is a model for homeless.

The decision to free Leonard Peltier came down today, and feeling a bit strange. Eric Sietz did his best, may all native American families and their spirits maintain their principals with their ancestors guidance. The 21st century or future was always in the hands of spirits never in the minds of ignorance. I got to talk to Dr. Sol Naluai it was comforting. Much aloha to you all Kaohi
