It looks like the House will pass a "HD 2" version, with new language from the attorney general and OHA.I think they'll try to re-insert some of the waiver of claims language. The house committees will hold decision making on Wednesday morning, 9:30 am in the auditorium.Mililani Trask gave great testimony, railing against OHA for its possible breaches of trust duty, fiscal mismanagement.I spoke about OHA's capitulation re the waiver of claims language, and the need for us to not give up on our resistance since 1893.I also spoke at length with Walter Heen later about the waiver section; he said that he's starting to change his mind.At any rate, we'll see. The fight clearly isn't over yet on this issue.
