    Aloha Noelani,

     

    I've been to many different places in Alaska and I have experienced this phenonmena myself. One can see the shift from pictures taken over time.  Durign the summer the whether is like Hawaii.

     

    The oceans that we are observing is different today!  But we haven't quite put it to words yet.
