Yes to your question of name change. My great grandfather's name is Samuel Ahua-I Lupenui, but in the 1900 or1910 census, it was just Ahua-I. Both ggrandparents came from Ka'u. So yes the name is sometimes they change the whole name to something else. But sometimes the kupuna's know about the name change like in my case, but when there is no kupuna around to help it is really hard. And that is why networking helps. So happy hunting, but if I can help let me know.

How you and the family been doing? Well my family and I are going strong without their father! Things are just going to get better for all of us. That was just a bad enviroment for the kids and I. But I do not deprive my children of their father, so on the weekends they go with their dad which I like because I have some DOWN TIME without them and a relaxing time. Well just thought of trying to hit up all the friends and sending them a little weekend cheer your way. Well take care girlie and have a good one!
