Anyway I want to say that Kelekona is my favorite but I don't want to say he's my favorite because he's my kupuna, however his writings are eloquent, brilliant, and just kulia i ka nu'u, so typical Kelekona, "Sheldon like." Other writers that inspire me or have a lot of knowledge that I've read are 19th century: Kamakau, Ii, Kepelino, there's more. . .I enjoyed reading Laieikawai. Modern: kumu Noenoe Silva, Trask, the Meyer sisters . . .plenty, its hard to choose.
