Hey , I was in Waihole this past Wednesday. Navy seem to be on it regarding restoration in comparison to what is happening in Makua! You have great energy too. Crack by Carck, brick by brick, it will all go tumbling down!
We all seem to end at places we have in common. Regardless of the issues at hand, we do strive to welcome everyone! I'm glad to see you, Pomaikaiokalani, Pono and Donna there! Imua...
ALOHA Mai, e Koa, It was my duty to be there to protect the rights of all of Ohana at the Vigil at the Capitol last nite. I wanted everyone there to know that the Hawaiian Kingdom welcomes all. I saw many people there that are of the movement that made me feel so greatful to be there. Long Live The
Hawaiian Kingdom.
e Koa, I graduated from Mission High on June 11, 1957 in San Francisco. San Francisco is my Second Home. I still have some friends living there and very proud that I lived there. I lived in the Mission District. Go Mission High Golden Bears.....................
It was great to see you there. You make me proud that the 'opio are stepping up with us. We are so lucky to have you and your generation being pono in your actions. Keep in touch.
eh Koa boy... that was my last dog's name Koa....I used to call him koa boy...i miss that dog.....i see you around again Koa...
its going to happen...remember the Ka'eo's home we visited in nanakuli...their family from Kauai.....i would not be surprise they belong to the Kauai King Ka'eokulani whose half brother was Kahekili King of Maui after his brother's Kamehamehanui reign on Maui.
Yeah, I remember seeing it on Hawaiian Moving Company and that's why it has a "warning strip about the use". I loved Peter Moon's guitar playing and did my rendition of it too "back in the days". Back in the days my dad turned me on to Gabby's style playing and I got all the LP's from old - wanted me to learn from his style of slack. So when Peter Moon came into the picture with Gabby I fell in love with his style too. I played this song a lot while I was in college when I was homesick especially the first month or so being away from home on my own - today though I love the slow version of Kaulana Na Pua. Keep the music of our culture!
Koa, I apologize, it's been a long day for me. I am so used to producing (writing) legal court documents sometimes its hard for people to understand. Let's start over. We're both paddling together in the same canoe. Just your on the port and I'm on the starboard, but its going in the same direction and we're trying to accomplish a common goal. Obama unfortunately is just a political puppet tutored in the Western ways and ideologies. It's really sad, especially after growing up and experiencing these beautiful Islands as a child. To just let all that pass, and for what? He has been allowed a life time opportunity to accomplish something that has real value and meaning. But, instead he chooses to ignore it. Now, that's a travesty of justice! Like you, I hear a lot of what ifs' and why nots'. Why this and not that? Sick of hearing the same kukae just like you Brah! So, basically we dakine, both look eye and no matta, we know in our naau's we both Kanaka Maoli and our nation will again become Sovereign. Time will be the deciding factor. Eh brah, apologize again. Mo betta you know now my true mana'o. Mahalo for your time. E hana me ka ha'aha'a e pili mau na pomaika'i ia 'oe a hui hou. "Braddah Ku"
Koa, by your own admission you apparently do not comprehend what I am saying. There is 'a'ole pilikia to be found here. I will however endeavor to better reiterate my claim so you may more fully comprehend its meaning. This man stumbled into office, and has no clue about the environment he was raised in. This is reflected in his a typical "Westernized" demeanor. He shares nor fosters any allegiance to that fact. Anything Hawai'ian or Kanaka Maoli is simply a stepping stone, i.e. the Akaka Bill. His current actions unquestionably reflect his unfortunate commitment to the ways of "Western Politics." I have no support for the man, none! Now if you further find yourself unable to comprehend my statement; "long standing abrogation, indignities and sufferings which still remain today", well thats unfortunately your problem. E kala mai but this conversation is now also abrogated! But before you go make huhu, make crystal first you know fo what you speak. Mahalo e pau.
whats up with there being two mana hui groups? lets go to the mea on the 7th together and with me sis. what time you get in? cool ideas, must act quickly.
