Aloha E Ku, Mahalo Nui Loa for adding me on to your list of friends. I always love to meet new people. I have read some of your replys to others in the discussion forums and I find your views on many issues quite fascianting. Mahalo for sharing your manao. I have found such a treasure in this maoli world. Not only do I meet alot of people who have the same interest as I do and I no longer feel like a circle trying to fit into a square but I also am amongst others who I can understand. I haven't had this much stimulation regarding my ancestors and our culture/beliefs since my Anakala Kauai returned to the heavens. Although I do know his hand has been guideing me through all the doors that have been opened I am very thankful for this and for meeting you. Mahalo once again until we meet again.

My apologies Ku Ching,
Lihue, Kauai is my birth place. The family home stood on Kealia. My father's name is or was Antone Ornellas of Kauai and my mother Mary Kaupena Cash came from honolulu. Unfortunately, I dont know my family in Kauai "The Ornellas's" I know my family is on the island but I have no way of knowing who they are. My parents have both deceased and I am at a lost. I visit the island both my husband and I, we love it there and there's a deep sensation of the Mana there. However, as a keiki my mother and father moved to honolulu and there I was raised in kalihi. Tutu mama & Tutuman had a huge family home across Puuhale Elementary School. Tutuman's name was George Ke'lii Mananui Cash,
Tutumama's name was Elizabeth Kekaula. So if there are any Ohana on Kauai that reads my story Please contact me..*: )
Tutuman was an entertainer he played the stand up bass with a small group he had and they entertained at the old lau e chai's. He was also a Fire Captain at the Dilligham Fire Dept and later became a Deputy Sheriff for the Territoy of Hawaii. Busy guy yeah..but he was a kind man. Tutumama is the one we had to watch out for!!
Aloha ku Ching..mahalo for inviting me in>>I live in arizona across from laughin, nevada where the colorado river seperates the two states. My husband and I have been here for 14 years and preparing to return to the islands and be close to our Ohana especially our mo'opuna's. I have recently became involved with Maoliworld and found so many intesting discussions on our Hawaiian Kingdom. I share my mana'o maoli with you on the issue of OHA Audit, it's about time. Too many Elelu's in that bunch..Aloha,
Sure. I don't know if I'll use it, but I'd like to see it again.
I have a couple of photos I'm considering.
The problem really is that I haven't figured out the process to post a picture. But one of these days. lol
But thanks for your offer. Is the pic with the "friend" that we were hanging out with in the east bay?
If that is the friend, it might be a bit early to announce our togetherness to the world. I'm trying to get things to adjust slowly so others posssibly impacted can do their own adjustments more comfortably.
Aloha and Welcome Ku Ching :)
As I see, You took quite a distance right up to Bratislava. From there I´m located about 2 h. by car.
On Your next trip, let me know please, and I can show You around Budapest (LOL)
From such a distance, I´m only passionately devoted to Hawaii and the Hawaiian People.
However far away from Hawaii, in my thought and with flowers, plants, music, I´m every day there. :)
I have the spirit of it, and I love it.
Aloha and a happy weekend to You
I may live in Iowa at the moment but, I'm an active member of Free Hawai'i. The issues of my Hawai'i is never to far away from my heart. I educate peoples from around the world about all the issues, from OHA to Genetic Modification of our Kalo.
