Mahalo for notifying me via maoliworld. It is great that you did that. I'm so against anymore development of Mauna Kea and do respect and stand behind you. I did send my letter in. Here is what I said. I'm gonna send you a copy in a message of what I said.
Yes, it is interesting cause I refered to Mauna Kea as a woman too. :)
Maikai, Been thinking about Vegas lately too but with the economy the way it is and my keikis to think of I declined. Plus we are going on a family trip to Maui at the end of the year so I'm pulling in the reigns. Hope you have a beautiful and safe time though. Let me know when you are planning to come home to Oahu, I will be leaving Honolulu on the 28th of Dec and returning on the 4th of Jan. I always wanted to go there and have a few areas of interest and from a young age Maui like Hawaii has called to me so I plan to be at Haleakala for my New Year. So Excited. Still looking for a place though but I am not too worried about it. You have yourself a safe and beautiful trip. Take tons of pictures and make many happy memories then when you come home you can share with me. A Hui Ho~ Kuuleinani

Take care of yourself and have a awesome time. Can't wait to hear the stories of your newest adventures. Big hugs and honis, Kuuleinani~
E Kalamai, I have been very busy lately but I didn't forget about you..happy to hear you are okay. You probably know this by now but if not I have had the oppurtunity to meet Dr. Ching. Gotta share this story with you..Its a testiment that there is much at work then we can see with the eye..I try to reach you again later.. A Hui Ho~ Kuuleinani
OK. All good. I'll come by after the morning rush past your house and touch base. I know where you are. And you can ride out with me, no problem. I'm putting the agenda together now as it's a hot topic. There are a few more, so I"ll fill you in when I seeyou. I look forward to good news?!
Let me know when you are here. We will be going to our ohanas place out in Punaluu for the labor day weekend, from the 28th to the 1st, I'm taking a little time out to spend with my babies but anytime before that I can help you if you need an extra hand. I wasn't able to call you because I got into some home renovations of my own. I painted my hale and was working on the yard, etc. My mama helped to clean out my little area to make my garden so I was trying to get as much done with the little time I had left before returning to work. Your walls sounds alot like my garage roof. It had a little leak and I tried to seal it, my theory was the same. If it can hold a little while longer until things settle then I won't need to invest in a new roof. I can just build a whole new house. Funny I just have this feeling like something is going to happen and things will change. I just need to be patient but until then I feel it very necessary for me to upkeep what little I do have. I mean I have to take care of the little before I can take care of the whole right? Anyways, all is well with my ohana. I started back at work the day after you went home and things are still a little hectic but its good. I love seeing the keikis again. I even had a couple of titas from last year stop by to say hello to me today and I was so tickled that they had thought of me and also at how much they had grown over the summer. They are both in intermediate so it made me feel special that they would come by to just say hi.... it also made me realize that they would remember what I shared with them last year. Well I better let you go. Take care and A Hui Ho..
Aloha E Anakala, Pehea Oe? Just stopping in to send some aloha your way. I am very sorry that I was unable to get in touch with you prior to you leaving Oahu... I hope all is well with you In Hawaii Island. Take care and A Hui Ho~ Honis~ Kuuleinani
