Aloooha!! Guess what I placed first in the Hawaiian Idol contest!! I feel so blessed. Thank you soo much for the vocal training. It made all the difference. My family said it was the best they ever heard me sing. Thanks again and I look forward to working with you in the future.

I tried to view it from that site as well but unable to. Mahalo anyway for trying. Anymore news on the GMO front? The bill in the Lege about banning Counties from passing any anti-GMO legislation is a bad one and I have commented against it. Must remain vigilant. Aloha.

Aloha e Tricia,
I tried to go to facebook but was unable to download Quicktime and so I couldn't view it. Is there any other way to see it? You have peaked my curiousity.
Mahalo.

I want to say mahalo for posting the event info re: dangers of GMO. It is a critical issue (view my blog post today) and something we all should be up in arms about but especially mothers of children, the ones to be most severely impacted by this. I take on this kuleana for the sake of my keiki and mo'opuna. Aloha no.

Too bad you haven't been to the mountain yet. It truly is "the mountain." Well, when you get up there - it's probably like other mountains in a lot of ways, but, on the other hand, it is a special mountain and if you approach it with humility and wonder - you feel its spirit and awesomeness.

I was invited to a ground-breaking ceremony today - Friday - which is probably going on now - the food that is - but I decided not to go as the cold and rain has me staying close to home today.

I'll try to call you soon.

From one old enough to be kupuna, to one that is not a spring chicken - Why not? There is always room in our army for willing hands, feet and a mouth - well, maybe all warm bodies will help us in the fray.

You got a phone? I can call you - and we can talk. What's a good time to call?

Take care.

Maybe we can go to lunch one day. Wat u tink?

I like to hike - when I have time. Or drive up to the mountain.

What do you do here?

As for me, I'm a bum. But busy all the time. I spend some of my spare time fighting the proliferation of observatories on Mauna Kea. I think they have enough of them - and they can recycle their obsolete ones.

I'm into self sufficiency. But I have a long ways to go. I'll be trying to rehabilitate my little farm - that has been practically ignored for the last 10 years or so. And I have sheep and dogs.

I spend 2 to 3 hours on computers just about every day - at the library and at Tutu's House.
