Thereʻs a new chapter being written at Kawaiaha`o Church in Honolulu regarding the iwi kupuna or ancestral bones buried in the cemetery there.

Previously we reported on both Free Hawai`i TV and Voices Of Truth - One-On-One With Hawai`iʻs Future on efforts of present day descendants to protect their relatives from being unearthed to make way for the construction of a new church social hall.

We also reported that in the eyes of Kawaiaha`o church and its parishioners it sees nothing wrong with digging up its former congregants - and even ministers - all in the name of “progress,” despite the fact that itʻs the ultimate wrongful insult in the Hawaiian culture.

Weekly protests that led to arrests have occurred at the church and a few weeks ago when church officials finally agreed to sit down for talks with the affected families there was hope of resolution.

Now come new developments - and the news is not good.

This coming Wednesday on Free Hawai`i TV weʻll bring you up to date on the shocking new developments at the Kawaiaha`o church cemetery and what it all means for those buried there and their relatives today.

For the full story of whatʻs led up to all of this, donʻt miss our amazing interview with Kamuela Kala`i, whoʻs been on the forefront of both protesting and protecting her own relatives remains buried there. See it all this week on

  • The families do and they own the Ukana that was buried with their loved ones.  At this writing the state (SHPD) hired  grave robbers are the owners.  Why? People who have recently gotten involved with the Hawaiian movement especially after the 2nd wave are just on board without the background knowledge of both 'Long Ago' or understand who connected the Hawaiian people to the US system.

Ordienstien buried our Na Kupuna descendants of 'Long Ago' and they are repsonsible for the long term care of those graves.  They should be part of the concerns round table to bring our na Kupuna to justice!

The present day Na Kanaka (after the 2nd wave) have no hesitation to join hands with those that were ashamed of native women and their children.  Two threads bind together with the Anglo agenda makes thrice the problem for those of us that do no conceive the notion of selling out our ancestors and their lands.

Examine your position, who are your partners, and what really is your assertion or contention with ones adversaries.  We are emploding within and thats just because the third wave are marketing the Anglo agenda on the heads of our children with great malice!
