This video about the displacement of a thriving community of Marshallese is appalling. Think of the devastation...seeing your child suffering with radioactive reprocussions. The US just moved them out of their island...and they STILL got zapped with the radiation. Wake up everyone...these are the same people that we would be UNDER...IF the Akaka Bill passes. You are absolutely right Donna...it was/is unconscionable what the U.S. did to these islanders. Why else would they test there? Environmental racism...they didn't care about the affects on these people...looked upon as guinea pigs. White supremacist mentality that justifies injury to non-whites. That is why the Pacific was used for Nuclear testing, far away from their European and American homelands.
