Wawae Hema....Wawae `Akau

It seems to be greener on the other side of the fence...love your neighbor...treat others as you would want to be treated...do for others before you do for yourself...and many more well known phrases that we try to live by. We use our past experiences to try and make the best choices but sometimes it may not be the right choice. Our joys, happy, sad, excitement, angry, etc...is remembered but my observation seems to turn 180 and instead of walking backwards, I now try to focus on what is simply right in front of my feet...it is our responsibility to learn from the past, apply, and stay the course. Wherever your journey leads, remember, left foot... right foot... left foot... right foot...nana i ke kumu.....

  • I too ponder on the being nice, but is that real?  It' more of an abandonment when it get's too rough.  I applaud the leaders in the fields where mistakes are often made.  What's even more wonderful is when leaders admit to their mistakes and clarify what worked and what didn't so that we can take anotehr step forward for the next battle.  Those that take a more simple route tend to walk on calm waters, but leave the sea during the surging storms.  Mahalo for sharing, I appreciate the talk.
