  • This is a no-brainer; the Akaka Bill erases our national status to a dependent tribe of the U.S.A. It confirms us as U.S. citizens rather than Hawai'i subjects of the Hawaiian Kingdom externally recognized by world nations as a peer to them, including the U.S.A. The Hawaiian Reorganization act is attempting to usurp the multi-ethnic citizens of the Hawiian Kingdom and create a tribal body to take over the jurisdiction of the Kingdom's govenment to negotiate away our status as a citizen of the stilol existing Hawaiian Kingdom and allow this "tribe" to negotiate away our rights, lands, resources, and autonomy under the direction of the Secretary of Interior and the plenary, supreme authority of the U.S. Congress. This bill now included that we cannot call the military accountable nor the U.S., The Federal and State will have supreme jurisdiction over this Hawaiian tribe ad the last say over any Hawaiian issues including thei seized lands referred to as the ceded lands. We already have recognition by the U.S. government in programs sponsored by it and it will do nothing to improve it by having the Akaka Bill. The only common sense solution is for the U.S. to de-occupy Hawai'i.
  • The Akaka Bill creates a head of state for the next 50 years, and the federal Mea Culpa had beaten native Hawaiians specifically women into a prostrate position for a continuation of eugenics. We the native Hawaiian women of the present state of affairs feel strongly that we're being asked to perform a selective breeding of our children, and as a 'niaupio, I am opposed to this government program to continue it's practices. Since 1923 we have been told to breed among ourselves, and continue the practice of incest as a means to gain an abode on fenced in agriculture (government) lands that was previously stolen for a period of 99 years. Since 1923 capitalism has generated a group of people, in so doing, only to dissipate over time by way of disease, experimentation, and genocidal means. Kaohi
