Sust-'aina-able living

https://www.createspace.com/277293You can get a copy of the DVD.A preview clip of it:It mentions the way to survive through both new technologies (waste vegetable oil, solar, etc.) and traditional ways. One of the things I had to learn to deal with when I moved away from Molokai, is how I had to now purchase things, food that I never had to pay for before. Water, fish, and venison (can't really purchase that but healthier as far as no chemicals/artificially-enhanced.My Aunty & Uncle would fish all the time and luckily we were inducted into that. It wasn't just for fun, but a way to survive. Whenever we had gatherings we'd go to their house, always prepared because after while at the parties, we'd go to the fishpond and fish.I lived with my Aunty & Uncle from November 1982 to September 1984. The freezer was always full with seafood that we'd catch and many she'd give it away to our relatives and friends. Our neighbors who did a lot of hunting or would catch a marlin, that was always shared with relatives and friends. My other Aunty and Uncle had friends visiting, they would always bring back a bountiful catch of lobster, opihi, fish, and deer.So much I took for granted in those days, now I have to purchase fish. Buy mangoes, and they're not all good and are expensive. I have to buy strawberries, tangerines, pineapple, lemons, pears, all of which we had growing in our yard, minus the pineapple which was in the back of our yard.
