Keanu Sai's motion to reconsider was denied and we wait to see how the judge will rule on the motion to reconsider by the Kanaka intervenor.

As an "empty calabash" my mana'o ha'aha'a is that Larsen v The Kingdom caught the USA by surprise. Dr. Sai had "good luck" without even a law degree at the time. The USA has mobilized its defenses NOW. It will be TOUGH for anyone at all to get back up to the level of Larsen v Kingdom again. From 1995 to 2000 Dr. Sai was at a different stage in his life. Now he is a happy reactionary Professor at UHM selling books and teaching kids. Men of destiny can sometimes enter a whole new phase and astonish the world. Perhaps we are looking at just such a man.
