Pii ka ena, pii ke kai

And here I was thinking of posting a blog, being manaka, the monsters, I mean little trolls (in the net sense & literally) have gone away for a lil bit and next thing you know, would be the other to kinda annoy me.I am sick & tired of people going off on people, or even expressing some kind of patronizing way after the other person have given them some type of compliment or in this case expressed gratitude. Basically giving "props."And would be me to blow up at them, but as I've always believed, we all have a part in this world. Guess this is my part, to shake things up a bit after seeming to be the level headed one. But the end result is the same. That other party ends up really thinking about what was done. So I don't feel so bad really, because the lesson, whether that other person or even myself are suppose to learn, has been learned.I mean seriously, if people didn't want any back lash or wanted to self idolize if not self promote in order to make themselves appear to be ano lani (god-like), then don't do it at forums, particularly in a form where everyone knows everyone to a great extent. They're better off starting their own forums a la Amelia Gora or create their own website like the puaakea Ken Conklin. I mean, it IS their own domain/site/puuhonua and can do whatever they want to. Here and other forums, it's the same, you can do whatever you like but just be prepared for all kinds of feedback, not just positive feedback but also negative things, including PERSONAL things in varying degrees.Doesn't help if I personally get annoyed at constant, unique, tag lines that make no sense really. If it's not that, it's someone like (I won't mention name but is responsible for me existing) who complains about not knowing Hawaiian. Huh? Not my problem. Not my problem I learned from a kupuna way back when and she (the person I hinted to in the last parenthesis) didn't have that same opportunity.

  • Yes, TWISTING things. That just rubbed me the wrong way. But then again, "it" was always a nail in my side anyway. lol Just couldn't handle it anymore.
  • I don't like the "too personal" when it IS personal LOL That and the haole-fied way of twisting things ;)
