For my family and friends who like KNOW:One of my nieces, Makanamaikalanimai, who is the one on the far right in this picture though the picture is what... nearly three years old LOL:has been accepted to attend UH-Manoa and Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University which is one of the top engineering schools in the U.S. She plans to go into engineering like her father. Yes she is very smart and is enrolled in Advanced Placement courses... and she is HAWAIIAN (LOL) Sorry but I am very proud of Hawaiians who SURVIVE. Seriously... to me a Hawaiian can be whomever and whatever THEY want to be. NO LIMITS!!! because to limit themselves is to limit our kupuna. Stating the OBVIOUS as usual LOL....Well today I went to the office at Clearwater Beach to get some work done. Afterwards my husband and I went to da beach and while we were there (since I always have to near water LOL In fact I have a pool AND I live along a lake LOL ) I was surprised to hear that my niece has decided to attend UH-Manoa for two years THEN transfer to Embry-Riddle.Ironically some jerks have been falsely accusing me of being pro-iwi and pro-oiwi because of the University of Hawai'i Hawaiian Studies programs inaccurately claiming that somehow THEY have brainwashed me to be pro-iwi and pro-oiwi. WTH??? What a jerkish attitude towards Hawaiians. NO OFFENSE but I never studied Hawaiian language or Hawaiian studies at UH. NOW I KNOW WHY I WAS ACCEPTED TO ATTEND the University of Washington then subsequently graduated from there INSTEAD of from UH. I never understood why I was so determined to attend the University of Washington considering that it's a top tier school but I could have attended UH. Nowadays I know why.. because of jerks who falsely accuse of Hawaiians of being brainwashed by UH because duh... I never enrolled in Hawaiian language or Hawaiian studies courses at UH so no... I think THIS way because of MY KUPUNA... not because of UH but wow... some people in Hawai'i are such jerks towards Hawaiians and bash UH Hawaiian Studies programs. NO OFFENSE to them but wow! Some people are so pilau towards Hawaiians at UH. Why would I want to attend UH when some people are SO NASTY TO HAWAIIANS?Surprise surprise I told the jerk. I did NOT attend UH-Manoa but I graduated from a top tier school... which he can consider a HARD slap to his face for dissing my kupuna like that because NO OFFENSE but that is EXACTLY what he is implying.Well my niece Makanamaikalanimai plans to attend UH-Manoa for two years then transfer to Embry-Riddle. I was hoping she would just go straight to Embry Riddle ONLY because some people in HAWAI'I are SO HATEFUL towards Hawaiians. SO DAMNED HATEFUL! It is DISGUSTING so of course a part of me does not want her to go to UH because I see some people with VITRIOL spewing from their mouths and/or hands... singling out and targeting Hawaiians based on their national origin. So OF COURSE I worry about her because I do NOT want her to hate a part of WHO she is nor do I want her to HEAR and/or SEE the HATE coming out of some people that mean HARM to her and to other Hawaiians. So yes a part of me does not want her to attend UH BECAUSE I fear for her physical and mental health. Physical because of the PILAU actions that single out and target Hawaiians based on their national origin. Mental because some people in Hawai'i are engaging in mental warfare in order to try to DEHUMANIZE the Hawaiian and KEEP THEM DOWN. I am NOT down with that!Anyway I KNOW that some Hawaiians at UH-Manoa will watch over her. She plans to go into engineering. She is very bright. Is presently enrolled all in Advanced Placement classes. More importantly... SHE IS HAWAIIAN. I REALLY hope that some Hawaiians at UH-Manoa watch over her. Of course she will be an undergraduate with hopes of going into engineering like her father. I REALLY hope some Hawaiians watch over her though. I REALLY REALLY DO. In the mean time I am posting more at my personal Facebook. Unfortunately some of my family and friends refuse to get a Facebook *LOL* I also have a Twitter but I only use it for my work. I have to work on my uka million websites because I want to CONTINUE to donate to MY causes BEFORE I make LOL I also want to help pay for all of my nieces and nephew's college education because I KNOW it will get more difficult for them and for other Hawaiians so sorry but that is partly why I have been SO busy lately.Latahs!
