I do hope the people in Hawaii observed today's La Ho'omana'o or Memorial Day. My family observed it with a candlelight dinner and recalling our loved ones who have gone before us and also of Nahi'ena'ena and those who made a difference in the lives of the Kanaka maoli in the past and others whom we admire and love. I h0pe you stop and reflect on this Memorial Day and share this time with family and friends.
