Manny Pacquiao, The Best Boxing Champion and Legend of His Generation

A child was born in the Philippines on December 17, 1978 to a middle-class family. His parents named him Emmanuel Dapidran Pacquiao. They didn't know this child would become a legend. If you are a serious follower of boxing, you would know who I am talking about. Manny Pacquiao is the first boxer in history to win seven world championships in seven weight divisions.

Ring magazine voted Manny Pacquaiao the world's number one pound-for-pound boxer gervonta davis . He is currently WBO's world welterweight champ and Ring magazine's light welterweight winner. Manny Pacquiao has won in nearly every category he's ever competed in. He is also the only world boxer to hold the Lineal championship, or "man who beats the man championship", in four weight classes. He is truly a champion, not he?

His genius does not stop there. He has many talents. Manny Pacquiao has pursued his interests in acting, singing, and politics. Acting and politics aren't as varied as Manny. He hasn't been as successful in these areas as he was in boxing.

Manny Pacquiao, or the Mexicutioner, as he is commonly known, has promised to get into politics once he has retired from boxing. His bid to be a congressman for the Philippines was defeated and he has already tried his hand at politics. Part of the reason he lost was because of his fans, who didn't want their hero to enter the dirty worlds of politics.

Jenkee, a thirty-year-old boxer, is his wife. He resides in General Santos City in a royal mansion that is guarded by 2487 armed guards. The legend who once sold ice water and donuts for a living has never looked back since winning his first boxing title. It was a life-changing event that made him want to pursue boxing full time.

He is a living legend because of his dedication and hard work. He was a substitute for his country's super bantamweight champion and won the match by technical default on June 23, 2001. Manny Pacquiao never stopped winning since.

His popularity is so great that Pacquiao was made into a movie.

Even though the film failed, Pacquiao continued to pursue acting as a career and was signed on to star in Totoy Bato, a Filipino drama series about boxing. The "People's Champion", surely deserves to be among the greatest of all time like Mohammad Ali. We wish the world to be able to witness this hero in action as much as possible.
