If you voted for Obama I must thank you for voting for President Obama:http://www.honoluluadvertiser.com/article/20090806/BREAKING01/908060324/Obama+backs+Akaka+bill+as+promisedVoting for him sure helped huh?Letters to him PLEADING with him sure helped huh?Like I mentioned before some of our so-called "best and brightest" ARE going to get US killed.Or rather... they ARE getting us killed.I state "killed" because land, food, water, and air help us to LIVE.Land being an important one because when WE lose OUR land WE lose OUR roots. Thus without land... WE die. Make sense?!?!?!And yes... if and WHEN WE GO DOWN I BLAME YOU for voting for HIM. YOU helped make it possible. This is not to say that Republicans are innocent. They are far from it. Like my mother used to tell me ever since I was a little girl, "They all crooks!" Even though I am a registered Republican... I agree with my mommy, She does not vote and has never voted in American elections. Props to people like her.But to vote for Obama. Some oiwi voted for him then bragged AND boasted about it. Lifting their head REALLY high.Eat one's words.I would rather eat stones!!!(Ae ka stress... yes LOL)Latahs!
This is a bit harsh. To sit back and blame anyone who voted Obama for problems is a bit of a reach. They voted for someone on the grounds that they felt was right. I know I heard from many sources saying that Obama was being talked to about the issues. At the end of the day, it's who has his ear or whatever wheel and deal happens in Washington. It wouldn't matter if the President is Obama or McCain or George Washington. The United States President is always going to do what's in the United States interests, not Kanaka Maolis. Your blame is displaced on the wrong reasons. Until we unite as one and make a stand, we can't blame Washington and we can't expect them to just give us what we want either. It's not going to happen.
