Aloha Brotha,
Thanks for the call this morning regarding the EPA denial of the Sewage Waivers for the two Wastewater Treatment Plants in Honolulu.
It was very interesting that the mayor of Honolulu claimed that their sewage collections system was rotten and a major source of pollution that enters your beautiful beaches.As you are aware Marla jo and I have compiled a series of reports identifying the dilapidated Sewer Collections System here in Morro Bay, Cali.
The California State Water Board and the EPA had just issued Morro Bay and Cayucos another 301h sewage waiver last month.Meanwhile ignoring our reports and my sewer flow study which identifies that our Wastewater Treatment Plant is surcharging on a regular basis,hence polluting our beaches and our National Estuary.
I believe that the Kingdom of Hawaii needs to be on point with this public health and safety problem and needs to be involved in solving this health risk.
