“My Hawaiian Genealogy - A Visit With Robert Ebanez”

Being Hawaiian in most of the 20th century meant assimilation. Speaking Hawaiian, studying the culture and learning your genealogy were all discouraged. Such was the world Robert Ebanez grew up in, yet as a teenager he found himself yearning to learn those very things. Donʻt miss our visit with Robert as he recalls an encounter with his auntie who much to his surprise turned out to be not only one of Hawai`iʻs greatest scholars, but the one largely responsible for the Hawaiian Cultural Renaissance today - Watch It Here

  • Ordering pizza and maybe a crumb will be left for our poverty after APEC leaves.  As for justice, I strongly believe that justice are for those that have the trix to pay the bunny rabbit that nibbles on our children toes as they sleep.  That is their tickle justice.   Yes, keep a cool head during the week.  This reminds me when the Dalai Lama came to Oahu we had to provide security.  But years later when he arrived on Maui the State Police showed up with their scoping guns pointed their guns at 4,000 children while the Dalai Lama talked about world peace.  And when the ADB came to town about ten yeas ago, we held the security burden.  And now, OMG, the US played their Rodney King and Oglala cards before the APEC started.  What a Hawaii butterfly (cause) for an affect  in 29 countries!  The Risk and Response shows non aversion for nuclear proliferation.  Good grief!  So who is the fourth pillar?

The point is we have no resiliency for their outcome of human and natural disaster.  Hope we can buy some time before the shelves empty out.  Keep yourself safe!

  • Aloha Kaohi....hope all is well...I guess security is tight around town this week....we have fight them with their own laws even though USA continues to break laws as they please based upon justice and fairness....which they never had the backbone for justice....only for their elite people who wants onw world order....
