Considering the P.L.D.C. who recalls the Leo Tolstoy tale "How Much Land Does a Man Need?" It tells the story of a wealthy peasant named Pahom (Locally in contemporary times he would perhaps be known as Claus Spreckles) who learns of the verdant fertile 'aina beyond the Volga. When Pahom arrives he meets the resident maka'ainana called the Bashkirs who tell him for a thousand roubles he can have as much land as he can walk around in a day. Pahom's greed is his ultimate downfall as in his haste he dies of exertion where he is therein buried, in Tolstoy's land rendition "Six feet from his head to his feet was all he needed." Sure this "Instrument of Accession" and "Protest of Demand" put "pressure" on The De Facto but the kanakas are getting pressure on a higher level. The "Apology" was taken back on the world stage on March 31, 2009. Then 1, 200, 000 were transferred out of Hawaiian hands !!
