If you view and enlarge this photograph "Hawaiian Exhibits," Women's Industries and centenary fair taken in Sydney 1888 and enlarge it, is this the Kalakaua Coronation medal as Stacy Kamehiro suggests?

Or is it another Hawaiian Royal Order medal of a different description? such as:

The clue is in the year 1888.
