Aloha kaua e Maoliworld,,This is a campaign to help educate and illustrate the dignity and intellect of the great Hawaiian People. Let's make the Queen our model as how she would do it, in her name we will do it for her and her people.Hawaii: A Voice For Sovereignty the documentary epic film about the Hawaiian Culture, the Spirituality and the connection to the land will be released soon theatrically. The private premiere of the film at the Capitol Bldg. in Washington, DC and the public premiere at the Maui Film Festival and Audience Award Best Hawai'i Film has proven that this film is solid for the history and representation of the Kanaka Maoli People. There will be special screenings of a preview of the film throughout the islands to celebrate the Oral History of the voice of the Kanaka Maoli People over the last century during the celebratory time of Statehood for the State of HI., before and during the week of Aug. 21, 2009. The goal is to get the message of the people out internationally. The film will be distributed in Hawai'i by Aloha Nui Distributors as soon as all qualifications have been met to move the promotion of the film forward. Orders for the DVD are available now to ensure a copy of the film after the premiers screening which will be announced soon.
