If y'all noticed I wrote down some of our paternal grandfather's branches in my Facebook. I wrote all of that out primarily for my littlest cousins Baby (who is expected to appear in December,) Hana (1), and Hokulani (4).I do NOT divulge it for public consumption and ask those who can see it to *not* share it with ANYONE. If you DO share it... consider yourself warned that you WILL be cursed LOL I know how some people can be as well.. as in pilau grabbing onto your every word... trying to peck peck peck AT you LOL Thus pecking at YOUR iwi which to me is very rude.BTW Kalani and I have been discussing about how he thinks that O'ahuans are rude, pushy, and/or egocentric. My piko is from my mom who is from Hilo but I was born on O'ahu so I know how rude some people can be but rudeness, pushiness, and being egocentric are not mutually exclusive to O'ahuans. Look at my cousin Boyd who is on MAUI LOL Another one of my non-oiwi distant relatives in HILO helped to destroy HAWAIIANS. Location is irrelevant but people will believe what they want to believe and it does not surprise me that the innocent people *continue* to pay for what the FEW guilty have done. How can I tell? Because when some people know that Boyd Mossman is my cousin on my paternal side they think that I AM LIKE HIM LOL So annoying! It is actually an INSULT to me when people extrapolate his arrogance TO ME. By the way props to people like Foster Ampong who confronts my cousin PUBLICLY for all to see because IMHO my cousin brings dishonor to our family name and I think that he needs to HUMBLE HIMSELF but then who AM I TO SAY LOLWell I will be writing out Kaimuki Grandma's side when I have time. However I would not hold your breath because I will probably do it sometime next month or so LOLIronically my great grandmother on my PATERNAL side was honored in 1991 by Hale o Na Ali'i when she was 100 years old and the oldest member of that group at that time yet some people act like TOTAL as*h*l*s to ME LOL It was even in the local paper but then people would not know but they should not ASSUME.I have yet to post my mother's side at FB too but I highly doubt I will get to it any time soon. As I explained at my FB which is limited to a few people who I trust LOL I posted my paternal grandfather's branches because he was a GREAT man and let us live with him when we were kids and had NOWHERE else to go. So he is first LOLI also think that he wants his great grandbabies to know so that is why I am telling their parents (who are my cousins) so that they will know LOL One of my cousins is expecting a baby in December that is why. I call him "Baby" and I think our grandfather wants the baby to KNOW so while I know that got some PILAU people who will use some information to harm people... I posted it there primarily for Baby, Hana, and Hokulani who are under the age of five.By the way I think it's so RUDE when some people ack the way they do. Fricken RUDE! The epitome of maha oi if you ask me but then who AM I to say? LOLSeriously... I was raised respecting the kanaka as a PERSON. They EXPECTED me to respect the kanaka as a PERSON.They made sure that I KNOW that respect is not what you SAY. It is WHAT YOU DO and HOW YOU TREAT KANAKA which is A gauge of who YOU are as a kanaka/person and who THEY (kupuna) are as kanaka.I guess for some people that is so NOT the case LOLBut one way to ANNOY ME is to SAY that you respect. One way to IMPRESS ME is to DO IT LOLThen again talk is cheap and some people REALLY ANNOY ME when they TALK LOLAnyway latahs!
I've learned to disassociate myself from "others" here on the mainland (maybe back home it's diff.) where a lot of people including non-locals will equate HAWAII with OAHU. They believe it to be synonymous. lol Um...nope. Das why when people like Gordon say, "is that Hawaii?" I immediately say, "that's not Oahu!" lol Because that's all these people know, that's all they see, even if you watch the news it's pretty much Hawaiian...I mean Oahuan. lol Get PLENNY going on on the other islands too, I mean PLENNY! Too bad, they don't get fair play. Pushy? Oh hell yeah. Pushy w/ how people perceive "Hawaii" to be. Which reminds me of that portagee (I think she was) lady named Sandy, who was on a Portuguese website geared to help those of Portuguese descent trace their roots. There was a lady whose Portuguese parents (maybe grandparents) were from Maui, but the question arose about the major islands or something about how many islands and Sandy mentioned the 4 major islands. I said, "what do you mean by 'MAJOR'?" and then I corrected her & she said, "you know what I mean, they consider those the major islands." What a damn fucking c__t! She was doing volunteer work at the Portuguese Genealogy Society. I should post her name. So yes, she gives a bad name for the rest of the GOOD Oahuans! lol
Yeah, your mom's side...Hookena, hello! Others have been warned...I hope Kuulei read your warning. lmao
