I have an interesting story but it is a little more about faith and akua that I will share.I have been given the gift of healing and one particular day I was taking a class for work. A classmate who was a son of a close friend from moku o keawe asked me to give him a ride back to his sisters house where he was staying. On our way there he asked me if I would like to meet his brother in law. On any normal day I would have said no, but I said ok. We get to his brother in laws house and he asks me if I would wait in the car so he could go get his brother in law. I said ok, but normally Iʻd say "maybe next time". He comes out the house and tells me that his brother in law is in the shower and if Iʻd like to come in. Almost instantaneously I said sure. Iʻm thinking to myself at this point Iʻm waiting to meet a guy in the shower that I don't even know. His brother comes out and is a stocky muscle builder who will be competing in the Mr. Hawaiian Islands. I chit chatted and noticed that he was rubbing his elbow. I asked him what happenned and he said he was training for the competition and he had injured himself. So I asked him if I could help him with his problem and told him I think he needed me to help him about 3 times. Everything went well and i went home. The next time I saw him was a week later at my office and he brought me some goodies. After I treated him he tells me "You know the day I met you at my house it was strange. I had gone to church the night before and prayed to god to help me with my injury because this competition was so important to me. I had even discussed with my fellow congregation if they knew of anyone that could help. I just wanted to let you know that you were the answer to my prayers."In light of many things that happen for me, I never forget to praise ke Akua for the love and the insight and the possibilities of hopes and dreams that he gives to all of us.Mahalo Ke AkuaKU
