Or any paper that even looked like a Peace Treaty ??

Did Our Queen ever say, "Jonah,  do NOT sign that paper !  It looks an awful lot like a Peace Treaty to me."

Richard Kinney could NEVER stomach "blood quantum" !  Could Richard stomach a "Peace Treaty" ??

We all know that there are lots of papers that "appear to be" a Treaty of Annexation,  but are NOT.  I  am seaching for any document that appears to be in any way the missing "Peace Treaty"  where the Hawaiians surrendered.

    THE CHAIRMAN:
And the Indians were deprived of their lands regardless of  their wishes or welfare, except to say,
"You must move away from here and we will give youu this.  You go away from Georgia and Alabama

and Mississippi   over to Oklahoma and we will give you those lands.  We want these ourselves."

Of course there is a treaty proposition,  although they were forced to sign.  When they would not sign,

we went to war with them and made them sign.

    MR.  DOWELL:
That is true,  but in principle have we not a different proposition because we have no government or

tribe or organizaton  to deal with here ?

First, as a congressional act,  the HHCA is not comparable to a treaty between two nations.

  • So, what does Hawaii have to do with the U.S and its treaty policies.  The US had international treaties with various nation-states including Hawaii.   As you say, the U.S. abolished tribes with treaty-making in 1871.  Still it doesn't involve with Hawaii in their domestic laws.  So, getting back to your question, there was no peace treaty with the Hawaiian Kingdom.

  • ".... After the United States was officially established as a nation-state with constitutional authority, treaties became an essential component in negotiating with tribes as sovereign political entities. Treaties were negotiated for various purposes, including ceding tribal land, and were the primary documents that defined the legal relationship between the United States and tribes until the abolition of treaty-making in 1871 [18]. ..."

  • The haole melika's interpretation of Hawaiian constitution, history and laws are nil.  Their ignorance and stupidity gives them no right or intelligence to define Hawaii's history, laws nor constitution therefore deem them irrelevant and inconsequential with no expertize on which to rely on.  For one thing the rehabilitation act is for economic viability comprarable to the western system of commerce; forced U.S. assimilation.  Kuhio the future king.  Really?  There were at least a half a dozen that could qualify as a future monarch; besides Kuhio and his brother was disinherited which puts them out of the line of succession and their heirs as if dead.  The law of occupation and the Ku'e Petitions supersedes that of the ipso facto U.S. Republic of Hawaii/Territory of Hawaii.   How many Hawaiian subjects signed on to the Hawaiian Homes At and how many were placed on these lands?  There is no lawful way Hawaiian subjects could renounce their citizenship to the Hawaiian Kingdom.  The other factor is the Hawaiian Kingdom is a multi-ethnic citizenship and to take a portion of its members to qualify for those lands are inconsequential of the political status of the Hawaiian Kingdom subjects.  If they were not part of the Republic of Hawaii and didn't recognize their authority or jurisdiction, then they were never citizens of the ipso facto Republic of Hawaii and still retain their citizenship to the Hawaiian Kingdom and were not proclaimed U.S. citizens by the U.S. as they did with the Republic of Hawaii citizens.  Even Asiatic people were not citizens of he Republic of Hawaii and had to naturalize to the U.S.A.   The ROH had adopted the U.S. Chinese Ban Act as law.  The wanton U.S. anarchy in Hawaii has created a mess that they don't know how to circumvent their creation.  This topic is frivolous an unrelated to the status of the Hawaiian Kingdom international issues.

  • Come on!  Let's be serious!  Kuhio would not have the authority to sign any peace treaty as would Duke Kahanamoku.

  • 2766676195?profile=originalIt seems that the Rehabilitation Act was all that was needed to ruin the Restoration !!
