I'm a huge fan of "MANY HANDS MAKE LIGHT WORK" and I'm sure that saying is so Menehune don't you think?I am a malahini to "Maoliworld Ke Ao Maoli" but I have been a long time mate, 40 years of Maoli - aboriginal culture.I came from the land Downunder to Hawaii to find my wife, raise my family, contribute and paint for my country Atooi.I have helped, and I have been helped by many wonderful Hawaiians over the years and together we accomplished much!"Ike aku, ike mai, kokua aku, kokua mai; pela iho la ka nohona 'ohana"-Recognize, be recognized, help, be helped, such is family life.You, me, kane and wahine, all us alike, together we are akahi long extended ohana and if we desire freedom, love, tolerance and respect for ourselves we know we must first extend that gift to all, everyone we meet on Maoliworld or on the street it is our purpose to live pono.Living pono is not an easy thing to do because as we all know to be pono really means to be truthful, tactful, honest and compassionate.As a painter I draw my entire inspiration from ke 'aina, ke moana, ke lani, ke hoku, ke kupuna and especially people just like yourself!It has been my vocation since a boy to reflect, interpret and recognize the life and patterns of our everyday local kanaka maoli culture.Together, this wonderful country will grow in leaps and bounds if only we all, would lokahi and unite under one single cause!
