'Awa, kalo, and mamaki

For my ohana and hoaaloha who like know :)

I have been busy. Work and in the earth LOL

Pics of my latest. I have 6 varieties of kalo. I am also starting the Kalo Project. One of my goals is to get huli to more Hawaiians. Every Hawaiian should have kalo. Just saying LOL

All organic. No toxic pesticides. The only things I use are dishwashing detergent mixed with water and Neem oil which are non-toxic not just to me but to the aina LOL

Kalo in da house! I have 6 varieties so far. I plan to replant them in a dry taro patch in my yard. Gotta make sure they survive first LOL












Mamaki!



More pics... container gardens. I have lettuce, chives, green onions, and oregano. A portion of my crops LOL:






Raised vegetable beds. I have five of them. Adding more! I have tomatoes, baby bok choy, peas, beans, collard greens, long eggplants, green bell peppers, lettuce, and much more.

  • Lilikoi is called the Passion Fruit because the flower tells of the Life of Jesus, o Pomai
  • ALOHA Mai, e Ululani, Maikai no oe. My Lilikoi Vine is finally fruiting. As now Bubble Bees are coming to the yard. Fresh Lilikoi is my Favorite Juice. I'm be making and put the Juice in the Freezer. Also sharing them around with Ohana and friends. More and more people need to start their Home Gardens. I like to use Fish Fertilizer on my plants.
