  American Jungle on the History channel if you guys never see um is filmed on the big Island of hawaii, about hunters hunting in the rain forests of Hawaii Island.  I personally never ment to watch it but came across it by chance, I never like watch college football n started flipping through the channels when I came upon the history channel n had this guy talking to a camera crew speaking hawaiian pidgeon. At first I was like wat this kanaka doin on da history channel, he stay talking about the hunt n thier ancestrial hunting trails past down from generation to generation n how other hunters from outside like come in an hunt on thier lands. First I dont know these kanakas an am not from the Big Island, but reside on Maui, second the Big Island of Hawaii is like the name says, BIG. The question I have is why if the Big Island so big these two parties, one kanaka maoli, n the others for not to be prejudice sake we call " outsiders " hunting in the same area. Another thing, the kapuna I assume of the spear clan Scotty or somethinfg was confronting these outsiders on poaching on thier aina, and one of the outsiders started talking shit to the spear kapuna n he never do nothing but talk. W e kanakas on Maui hunt our respected mountains n when we see another party of hunters on the opposite ridge we go in the other direction for safety purposses. But when you are hunting in your own aina n a bunch of " outsiders " come up n start talking shit to our kapuna, he would be on the ground eating dirt, nobody, not even another kanaka can disrespect our kapunas in or out of the mountains and get away with it, shame.  I got so disgusted I changed the channel, they make us kanakas look bad, this just as bad as the movie Big Wednesday where the kanakas got thier ass kick by one haole. fking shame.
