He Hawai'i au mau a mau! I am Hawai'i now and forever! that is the answer I give everyone when posed with the question ? Are you Hawaiian? actually I am a quarter Chinese and some english or scots on the side from my Mom and my dad was Hawaiian. My ethnicity would be that I am a Native Hawaiian indigenous and endemic to these Islands. how do I know this is because I know my genealogy and in our kumulipo it states that I came literally from the sea. so in my beliefs I do believe that I am Hawai'i,Maui,Moloka'i,Lana'i,Kaho'olawe,Molokini, Oahu, Kaua'i,ni'ihau,Lehua...ect! so forth. it would be interesting to me to find out about my kungkung or Chinese great-grandfather was from and his people(family siblings) I know that he came from Konloow, china. came to Hawai'i as a young man met my Tutuwahine kaleiopio who changed him into a Hawaiian, by teaching him her ways he adapted to where he learned the language and how to work the aina land (lo'i kalo) but still he held on to Chinese beliefs in which he grew Poppy to make opium, because Awa was to weak..;) so being that I think my pake and haole grand parents would become Hawaiian nationals because they have married into the Aboriginals or original Natives of the land. so in my mind eye and maybe in Dr.Youngs eye that they are Hawaiian by injection in terms of marriage. My nation is Hawai'i I am from this Islands, so this would be my Nationality, I think anybody that is born here in these islands should be called Hawaiian. when inmates go to the Americas they are labeled as Hawaiians, or Hawaii in-mate.. no matter if they are Caucasians, Asian, black, tongan,Samoan..etc. you transported from Hawaii you are Hawaiian- in mate number474-6288-0031. so if they label that in the government judicial system. then I know I am Hawaiian. President Barrack Obama is defiantly from Hawaii. he was born and raised here and his half sister is Hawaiian so he is guaranteed Hawaiian in my book and in Dr. young's. Obama is Hawaiian because he shows some sense of Aloha even when he fucking everything up in trying to get the united states country back in order.plenty people would disagree with me but that's their mana'o this is mine.

Who is the Hawaiian ?? What a mystery ?? They found some people in the Sandwich Islands and the people there have seen NO REST since !!! It seems that at some point they had accepted the name Hawaiians. But then it seems that even that name was denied them from the outside. Yet it seems that, despite of all the conflicts, these islanders can still recognize one another !! Marvel of marvels. What they call one another is quite in- substantial. The substance is still there, despite of all the conflicts. All across the Pacific, people are NOT all that interested in "help". What islanders seek more than anything else is TO BE LEFT ALONE !!! Just leave the Sandwich Islanders ALONE !! They can live quite well WITHOUT your names for them !!
