So now OHA is back-peddling and want to hear what we have to say? All this time, they have purposely ignored and discounted what we had to say and summarily dismissed us. They were more concerned about pushing the Akaka Bill than hearing what Hawaiians’ varied viewpoint was about the bill and historical fact. Instead they chose to support the myths and figured the opposition was only a small percent of the Hawaiians. They still are a U.S. government entity and anything contrary to their interests is a conflict of interest. Finding the growing opposition of the Hawaiians has forced them to find a compromise of sorts in hopes of convincing us to give up our rights as Hawaii nationals and citizenship of the already existing Hawaiian Kingdom. They need to create their own Hawaiian governing entity like a high school pep club to usurp the authority and jurisdiction of the existing Hawaiian Kingdom to negotiate the land and resources with the U.S.A. This is reminiscent of the U.S. puppet Provisional Government and the U.S. Republic of Hawaii. What they couldn’t get away with in 1893 and 1898, they are trying to once again defraud the Hawaii nationals by recreating the same thing today. They now know we are an obstacle to their agenda and need to find a way to have Hawaii nationals comply and give up their inherent rights to support the myth of being U.S. citizens who gave up their country, the Kingdom of Hawaii, to become a tribal Indian governing entity and forsake our other non-kanaka maoli bona fide citizens while being labeled native American indigenous people. They want us to give up the whole pie and accept graciously the paltry crumbs they decide they want to give us. This means surrendering our nationalism as a citizen of the Hawaiian Kingdom and accepting a much lower status as a tribal people subjugated by the U.S.A. as our lord and master. The U.S. can take their “domestic” bills and shove it up where the sun doesn’t shine. The U.S. who belligerently occupies our country must de-occupy our territory and make restitution and reparations for violating the laws of occupation and disregarding our internationally recognized neutrality which is bound by the laws of neutrality.
