What is Hawaiian? Why does it Matter?

Paia school Immersion or Conversion?

Construct another 8 Story Telescope on Maunakea

The National Science Organization aka, NSO has been pushing to build another telescope on top of Maunakea. Nine of the 13 telescopes that are present, are not being used at all. This telescope is looking to be 8 stories tall. How do you feel about this situation? We already are building another telescope on top of Haleakalā as of right now, that will be 14 stories high. How much more of these telescopes do we need?

Building another Prison in Oʻahu

The Maui county fair.

    The Maui county fair parade starts tomorrow and they going shut down not only Kaahumanu Ave. but also the UHMC parking lot facing the avenue, I only get one question, where us students supposed to park for go school, I think thats a "fair" question.

Government entities restricting native access

Aloha ia ʻoukou



Today I attempted to visit Hale o Keawe ma Puuhonua o Honaunau and was blocked access by National Park Service personnel due to US gov budget issues. Access from the coast was blocked by orange fencing and signs. Also had 6-7 park personnel roving the grounds to keep people out.



I left feeling angry and cheated of my kanaka maoli right to visit a resting place of our cherished aliʻi.
