the Hoku Le'a

Several years ago the Hoku Le'a sailed into port. Naturally I went down to see it. As I climbed aboard one of the crew introduced me to the other visitors, "And here is our distinguished captain"--she obviously needed glasses, or maybe I looked like the guy. Do you think I did anything to correct the impression? No, I just smiled and waved graciously.

I have told that story in Hawaiian on my blog kaonamakekai, I wish my Hawaiian were better, I wish it were 100% correct fool…
