It has been my 'elua (second) Papa 'Olelo Hawaii. It only seemed like yesterday as I noho and ho'olohe ke kumu. As the memories returns, it much easier for me to mapopo the lessons. It is not easy nor is it a task to learn our own native language. As I practice with my keiki, I will improve over time.
Never be ashamed of when to learn to speak 'Olelo Hawaii. Every perspective may differer, however it is our kuleana to perpetuating the Hawaiian cutlure.
