People say lots of bad things for over 200 years about our family, but we stayed loyal to our people and have lot's of evidence. I am not a Kam person (individual) only because they started off with guns. And they got these guns from Euro-Americans. The first battles being Kuamoo, and many thereafter, the one in particular was Nuuanu. 800 plus robust Koolaupoko men died! Think about that and what happen to the women. We our mothers of the aina and children were then raped for years by the Kam's to reproduce their DnA which is what we have in our lineage. The Koolaupoko women continued their private cries, and I got to hear them, in the stream, bath houses, and small talk on the eating table after the gathering. 1845 Maunawili Road that is where the bones were/are buried. I don't get along with my father's widow, so if you want to visit see my other cousins on the property. We still have Liliu's original rose bus, haloa two corners, the pohaku that liliu layed on beside the stream, taro patches (predate Kam). It's a beautiful place families still live Mauka to Makai on the original lands, however, the land taxes are awful I was hoping not to loose this property and keep it for the future generation. Is your father's name Ku?
