I got this picture from I think a card that I had gotten for my birthday or I got it from the internet.
Aloha e Drew! Mahalo for your kind comments and your interests in Na mea Hawai'i! All my 'uhi (tattoo) that you see was done by Keone Nunes. He is the leading expert in Kakau ka 'uhi. He knowledge in patterns and genealogies has been passed down to him through many of his Kupuna who has seen the process or who have participated in the work. He has been taught by Su'a Suluape Paulo II.
I would strongly suggest seeking him out if you want an unbiased opinion in regards to 'uhi and all the protocols and Kuleana that go along with it. I am not at liberty to share any contact information about Mr. Nunes, but their are other sources on the internet that might have it. He is also on Facebook as well.
