O Kalamaʻs Quartet ka hui himeni, o "Early Hawaiian Classics" ka cd anthology. Ua hoopaa mele o Kalama ma (William Kalama, Robert Nawahine, Dave Munson, a me Bob Matsu) i ka 1920s. He hui kaulana o KQ i kela manawa, eia naʻe ua lohe kakaikahi ʻia lakou i keia mau la. Manaʻo au, ano like ko Papa kaila "Hawaiian blues" me ko KQ leo earthy, gutsy, piko-connected.
