I lived in Kakaako from birth to about 1959, attended Pohukaina Elementary. Our family relocated to Ewa Beach in the early days and we lived on Ewa Beach Road attended James Campbell but didn't grad there finished HS in Hayward, CA at Mount Eden. Went back home after graduation and was then drafted US Army after Vietnam back to Hawaii jobs was scarce and wasn't ready for higher education back to the Army for a Career. Married two Keikies, Retired and moved to Washington, worked and retired with Boeing.
I am of the Lovell's on Kauai my Tutu Mele Holokahiki on my mothers side would like to hear from other distant cousins.
