Wow! Such enchanting and chicken skin moments! You can just feel the mana emanating from our wahines and kane. Powerful.. are the movements and oli being displayed tonight. This is just a prelude to whats in store for us tomorrow night! I cant wait! Good luck to all the halau competing in this years, 50th Annual Merrie Monarch 2013! You are all winners!
Once again, we sit and watch in anticipation.. some of Hawaii's most talented wahines take the stage within the prestigious Edith Kanakaole Stadium. It is an honor and privilege, to see these dedicated and passionate wahines.. perpetuate and keep strong.. our culture and heritage.. through their voices, songs and dance. Good luck to all the wahines competing in this years "Miss Aloha Hula Competition" 2013! You are all winners!
