Brave Kauaians show off a clear message on the back of their T-shirts: Kū ‘ē or the name of the individual island and the message in Hawaiian and English: "Kaua`i, Maui, `Oahu, Ni`ihau, Lāna`i, Moloka`i or Hawai`i is not America and it never will be!" They wear it to public meetings and all accross the island. Many-many positive comments from the public.
