  Aloha Nohea, no I never did have a shave ice stand in cali. I was born in Burbank, Ca., though and returned to Hawaii in 1961. My dad is the Hawaiian, my mom is the Jew, which makes me a Jewaiian. I grew up in Kailua and have been living in Waimanalo on the old homestead for 18 years now.
